Reupholstery supplies are not always easy to find in your area, and fabulous Danish furniture is out there waiting to be repaired and enjoyed. Rattan, wicker and other open frames also use this type of webbing for seating.

I first put this little kit together for my daughter living in England during her university years, to repair a danish chair she found in a dumpster - or "skiff" as they say. I couldn't just pop over and fix it for her, so sent her materials and a printed instruction sheet for her to DIY. The rest is history. I have sold a bunch of these since 2006, helping people worldwide fix their own danish, rattan and open framed furniture that utilizes elastic webbing with v-clips, staples, tacks, nails, or dowels.

In this kit, tough stretch webbing and accompaning v-clips quickly and easily reweb beloved modern-midcentury seating, while providing optimal resistance level for the foundation of your seat. It has become an industry standard and is certified for strength and aging. It retains its elasticity after years of use. 2" wide, it replaces old dried up, stretched and broken original rubberized linen Pirelli webbing straps.

All frames are a little bit different, but if you have 6 or less strips at 22" (55.88 cm) or less, this will fix you up in no time. You'll get:
• 4 yds of uncut webbing
• 12 clips
• Printed instruction sheet
• Practice clip and strap sample piece to test how far you need to flatten the v-clip to fit into the frame's slot.

Simply flatten with pliers/vise or hammer one end down as flat as need-be to go into frame's back webbing slot. Stretch to the front of frame, mark your cut, make the cut, apply a v-clip to this front end and stretch into place. Whool-la! Takes about a 1/2 hour or less.

A blogpost on this you will find HERE, if need be.

YOUR FRAME MAY UTILIZE STAPLES, NAILS OR DOWELS TO HOLD WEBBING

You may not need the v-clips...email info@millerupholstering.com or call the shop at 612-729-1841 if you have questions about what to order.

Special Note On Original Fagas Webbing:
Furniture frames that originally used support straps where the metal clip of a very thin gauge is fused with rubber webbing at both ends are called Fagas strips.  This kit's elastic + v-clips are not really meant to substitute for fagas. I can help you source fagas or you can simply google it.
